Welcome to Ladera del Mar!

Three years ago, my family and I struck out on a Caribbean vacation designed to meet our diverse interests. Relaxation and recreation were two key criteria. After much research, we decided on Costa Rica with its promise of a stress-free getaway at a convenient and safe destination. A trip that forever changed our lives.

Back then, Costa Rica was a vacation destination. Today, it’s home. That trip sparked a love affair so passionate that it’s inspired our resources, talents, and time in ways that we never new possible.

We’ve fallen in love with Costa Rica–with the land, its people and its creatures. The respect shown toward the environment is humbling and inspiring. We’re working with incredible people who are as devoted as we are to environmental stewardship of this amazing treasure we’ve called Ladera del Mar, “hillsides of the sea”.

Our mission here at Ladera del Mar is to nurture one of the most unique and picturesque ocean view hillsides found anywhere in the world.
